Assistant Principal: Nicole Dawley

Nicole Dawley will begin her second year as Assistant Principal at Groesbeck Middle School for the 2024-2025 academic year.
A native of Groesbeck and a proud graduate of Groesbeck High School, Ms. Dawley brings extensive experience to her role. She began her higher education at Navarro Junior College and earned a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University. She furthered her studies with a Master’s degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce.
With a distinguished 25-year career in education, Ms. Dawley started her professional journey with Mexia ISD, where she spent five years teaching first and second grade. She then joined Groesbeck ISD, serving as a classroom teacher for 12 years. Her experience also includes roles as an interventionist, diagnostician, dyslexia teacher, Coordinator of Intervention Services and District 504 Coordinator.
Ms. Dawley is enthusiastic about her role at Groesbeck Middle School. Reflecting on her time at GMS, she shared, “Great things are happening at GMS, and I am eager to be a part of it.”
