Mrs. Davis’ class put their fraction skills to the test in the most delicious way! Students worked hard to convert cupcake recipes, multiplying and adjusting fractions to create the perfect amount for their group. From carefully calculating ingredient amounts to double-checking their measurements, these young mathematicians proved that math is everywhere — even in the kitchen!

HOW, Enge, Middle School, High School, Kids Kare, and Red Goat Cafe were on a Secure hold. As a precaution, students remained on campus. The Groesbeck Police Department investigated a possible incident and confirmed there was no threat. The Secure hold has been lifted.
Dominic M., Jayson E., and Deuce D. competed in the 70th Annual Central Texas Science and Engineering Fair in Waco, TX yesterday. They entered their Systems Software project, a Math Study Guide, and earned 1st place in their category, as well as the 6th Grade Sweepstakes Award. For their project, they coded an application in Scratch designed to help students learn and practice their multiplication facts in an engaging and interactive way.
Their hard work, creativity, and problem-solving skills truly stood out among the competition. They will advance to the state level at the Texas Science and Engineering Fair at Texas A&M University in College Station in March. Congratulations on this incredible achievement—we are so proud of them! 🎉
