Pep rally ready at H.O.W.
So glad we are able to stream the homecoming pep rally since it rained us out this morning. Thank you GISD and Groesbeck High School for making this happen for our little goats!
GISD will be working on a GISD-community night to highlight and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Ideas include celebrating and participating in hispanic dances, hosting a pot-luck dinner, and participating in cultural activities. Stay tuned for more information.

1st Responders Day! We loved all the outfits and "Protecting the G!" Our favorite goes to little Nurse Terra honoring our nurse who protects our H.O.W. Goats everyday!
The halls were full of Disney characters today as we get ready for homecoming this Friday! What fun! We can't wait to see what tomorrows First Responders outfits look like!
Today we celebrated Grandparent's Day at H.O.W. We had an amazing turnout and are grateful for the support that our families show us here. Thank you for joining us and making today super special!
3rd grade achieved a 97.5% attendance rate this week to win the challenge! We want to applaud each and every grade level for their outstanding efforts. We have seen remarkable improvements in attendance this week! Be at school all day, every day!
GISD supports Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
*The most common types diagnosed in children ages 0-14 yrs are leukemias, brain and other CNS tumors, and lymphomas.
GISD will be provided a gold wristband to wear, helping to raise awareness. Thank you Robyn Moss for the donation!

The Goat football team came and welcomed the H.O. Whitehurst students this morning! The smiles were huge as our students got out of the car and unloaded the busses! Thank you boys and Coach Bomar. This made our day! Good luck tonight and beat the bulldogs!
