This week, we celebrate the heart, dedication, and passion that teachers bring into the classroom every single day. Thank you for the early mornings, the late nights, the patience, the encouragement, and the countless ways you inspire growth—both academically and personally. The impact you make reaches far beyond the classroom and lasts a lifetime.
Doors open at 4:30 pm at the GHS Auditorium with the art and floral design exhibits, band solos and ensembles at 5:00 pm, and the play at 6:00 pm. The exhibits and music are free. Tickets for the play are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for students, GISD employees, and Senior Citizens (55+).

Ms. Smith brings energy, creativity, and a passion for learning into her classroom every single day. She has a special way of making math come alive for her students—building confidence, encouraging problem-solving, and showing them that they can achieve anything they set their minds to.
Her dedication goes far beyond the classroom. She pours her heart into her students, supports her teammates, and truly makes a difference in the lives of everyone around her.

Rugby is officially back in action after his surgery and recovery, and we couldn’t be more excited! 💙 He’s feeling great, soaking up all the love, and back to his favorite job—being everyone’s best friend.
Thank you for all the kind thoughts and well wishes while he was healing. We think all that love helped him bounce back extra fast! 🐶
