GISD Transportation Department enjoyed a wonderful breakfast this morning with bacon, biscuits, and all the fixings!
Wheels on the bus go round and round... because of these awesome GISD Transportation Department employees, from keeping the buses in working order to transporting our kids to and from school. Our buses and white fleet cover 528 square miles, and we appreciate the extra mile each of you goes to make this district great.

Celebrating our 3rd graders for improving their Facts On Fire multiplication and division facts, PreK students ready to learn, and students engaged in learning across classrooms. Friday was made even better with our visit from the Red GOAT Cafe coffee cart! We are proud of our scholars!

Rugby’s Week at a Glance… with a little twist! 🐾💙
Our favorite school pup had a quick procedure this week, so he’s currently rocking the cone life and taking it easy. While he’s not making his usual rounds, we’re happy to report he is healthy, doing great, and getting lots of extra love and snuggles!
Rugby definitely misses seeing all of his friends in the halls, but don’t worry—he’ll be back to greeting everyone and spreading smiles very soon. Until then, enjoy these adorable “cone of shame” moments! 🐶✨
