Dr. Keith Parker, Principal
Welcome to Groesbeck High School!
My name is Dr. Keith Parker, and I am honored to serve as the principal of Groesbeck High School. With over 18 years of experience in education, and 10 years in the military. I am dedicated to fostering a nurturing and challenging environment where every student can thrive.
I hold a Doctoral Degree in Leadership in Education Administration from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor, a Master’s in Education Administration from Wayland Baptist University, a Master’s in Criminal Justice from Lamar University and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Chapman University and I have had the privilege of working in various educational roles, including Principal of DAEP, Assistant Principal at both the High School and Junior High School levels, teaching science at both the High School and Junior High School levels, and teaching Criminal Justice at the High School level. My journey in education has been marked by a commitment to excellence and a passion for student success.
Outside of school, I enjoy playing golf, being with my family, and reading. I believe that a strong connection between the school and the community is essential for creating a supportive and enriching educational experience.
My educational philosophy centers on developing our students as well-rounded individuals that can succeed in the world after high school, whether it is at college, in the military, or in the workforce. We recognize the need not only for college readiness but also for career preparation and exploration. We are continuing our partnerships with Navarro Community College for dual credit offerings. We also want to increase industry certification opportunities and an increased alignment with our endorsement pathway opportunities for all students. By expanding our certification programs for students in Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA), Welding, Construction, and Culinary Arts, we hope to open more doors to student success.
State legislation has changed, mandating a few changes at the District and campus levels. To meet the requirements and better serve all student needs, we have made changes in scheduling, staffing, and programs, but our commitment to students and their success is unwavering. Our goal is to make Groesbeck High School the best campus in the area and build programs that will assist our students in their future endeavors.
Together with our dedicated staff, I am excited to lead Groesbeck High School towards a bright and successful future.
Again, we welcome you to Groesbeck High School and are looking forward to working with and for you to make this a remarkable learning experience. If you have questions or concerns, please email or call us so we can assist.

Dr. Keith Parker
