We are proud of our Goats who played hard in a tough game against the Crockett Bulldogs. Our Goats showed tremendous resolve and grit. They stayed trued to the Goat philosophy to "ALWAYS COMPETE" and displayed resiliency and athleticism. Here are some Highlights:

GISD will be working on a GISD-community night to highlight and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Ideas include celebrating and participating in hispanic dances, hosting a pot-luck dinner, and participating in cultural activities. Stay tuned for more information.

GMS PEP RALLY INFO:
Tomorrow 9/14/23 GMS PEP RALLY will start at 3:09 in the main gym. Guests please arrive a few minutes early and make sure to bring your ID, you will enter through the front door of the building.
MUMS:
GMS Students are allowed to wear their mums Thursday and Friday!

GISD supports Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
*The most common types diagnosed in children ages 0-14 yrs are leukemias, brain and other CNS tumors, and lymphomas.
GISD will be provided a gold wristband to wear, helping to raise awareness. Thank you Robyn Moss for the donation!

Congratulations to our GMS Football team. Our 1st game is complete with 7th grade's victory over the Leon Cougars and 8th grade's victory over the Marlin Bulldogs. Hope to see you next Thursday as the Goats host the Crocket Bulldogs @ 5PM.
