Dating Violence occurs when a person in a current or past dating relationship uses physical, sexual, verbal, or emotional abuse to harm, threaten, intimidate, or control the other person in the relationship. Dating Violence includes actions such as physical or sexual assaults; name-calling; put-downs; threats to hurt the person, themselves, friends, or family members; attempts to isolate the person from friends and family; stalking; or encouraging others to engage in these behaviors.
Rachel’s Challenge is a national organization that inspires, equips, and empowers K–12 students to make a positive difference in their world to replace bullying and violent behavior on school campuses with kindness and compassion so students can learn in a safe, respectful environment.
