Title IX
No administrative officer or employee of the Groesbeck Independent School district, acting in his/her official capacity, may discriminate on the basis of a person’s sex, race, religion, color, age, language, or national origin regarding personnel practices, including assigning, hiring, promoting, compensating, and discharging employees; use of facilities; awarding contracts; or participation in programs.
No student shall, on the basis of sex, race, religion, language, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity sponsored by the school district except as specifically provided in the Title IX implementing regulations.
Notice on processes for reporting misconduct: Any person can report sex discrimination, including sexual harassment, in person and by mail, telephone, email, or any other means, at any time that results in the Title IX Coordinator receiving the person’s verbal or written report.

Training Materials: The training was conducted by Region 10 ESC.
In compliance with the requirements of Title IX, 34 C.F.R. § 106.45 (b)(10), the District’s Title IX Coordinator completed the required training on 02/28/2022.
Section 504
No qualified handicapped person shall, on the basis of handicap, be excluded from participation, be denied the benefits of, or otherwise be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity sponsored by the school district except as specifically provided in section 504 Implementing Regulations. The Groesbeck Independent School District does not discriminate on the basis of disability by denying access to the benefits of District services, programs, or activities.
