Both JV teams will be hosting the Back to School Bash at GHS, while the Varsity will travel to Huntsville for a tournament Thursday-Saturday. The Lady Goats Varsity Volleyball Team played in the Leon Tournament today, winning 2 of 3 games, against Centerville and Bremond. They will travel back to Leon tomorrow to face West Rusk, Frankston and Grandview's JV. They will play at 3:00, 4:00 and 7:00 PM.

The Varsity Volleyball team will be playing in Leon this weekend, starting tomorrow morning. The bus will be pulling out at 7:00 AM and our first game will start at 9:00. Come out and support this team if you can.

The Groesbeck Lady Goats took the WIN. Both JV and Varsity put one in the W column against Normangee tonight. Congratulations! Next game is on the road for the Lady Goats, with the Varsity traveling to Leon to play in their tournament Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Schedule for the tournament will be posted tomorrow.

The Lady Goats will be traveling to Riesel tomorrow to face Riesel and Rapoport. Only the JV1 and Varsity teams will play tomorrow. There will be no practice in the morning. We will be leaving at 1:30. Please be at the gym at 12.

Today is the day. The Lady Goats will host the first scrimmage of the 2024 Volleyball season. Games will begin at 10 AM in the Varsity gym. Swing by and check out all their hard work from this past week of two a days. There will be no gate fee.

GISD comes together to recognize and celebrate. In recognition were new teachers, 2023-24 Teachers of the Year, perfect attendance, and the longest-employed staff member. A special thank you to Rand Optical for donating polo shirts and to Jenny Staggs for the car freshener for the new teachers.
